General Operative - Paint Preparation Team
Location: Kicronagh Depot - Cookstown Reference No.: (GO/02/19) Closing date: 25th February 2019
KDM Hire Ltd is one of the leading hire companies in N.I. We are currently seeking a General Operative, to join our Paint and Preparation team for our Kilcronagh depot in Cookstown.
Duties include:
•Responsible for the preparation and rub down of equipment prior to full re-spray
•Effecting filler repairs in metal and glass-fibre bodywork
•Effectively carry out equipment inspection, stickering and branding of equipment after refurbishment
•Maintain work area in a clean, organised and safe manner
•Complete minor repairs on damaged equipment
The Person:
•Reliable
•Experience in a similar role would be advantageous
•Plant & machinery background would be considered an advantage
•Flexible approach to work
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•Excellent communication skills
•Excellent customer service skills
•Good problem-solving skills
