KDM Hire Ltd is one of the leading hire companies in NI and is currently seeking an Accounts Assistant reporting directly to the Company Accountant.
The role of Accounts Assistant is vital within the company and will be crucial for the efficient running of the Finance Department. Joining a team of five, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting various finance functions.
Duties include assisting in the following:
- Processing and maintaining Purchase Ledger/Sales Ledger
- Processing invoices/payment runs
- Supplier and customer reconciliation
- Answering incoming calls
- Responding to daily payment queries
- Preparing and collating payments in a responsible, timely and accurate manner
- Contacting customers requesting payment of accounts
- Following up on customer queries
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience within a busy Finance/Accounts function
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good IT skills (including Microsoft Excel & Word)
- Sage experience is desirable
- Ability to work as part of a team and to use own initiative
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Hours of work: Monday – Friday 9am - 5pm
